A new note from Ralph about Time Machine Guitar!
I am so excited! As many of you know, we've been working for over a year on a television pilot called "Ralph's World: Time Machine Guitar" that we hope one day will be broadcast all over the country- even the world. Well, we're taking a big step towards that soon.
In just a short while WTTW/Channel 11, our local PBS station here in Chicago, will be airing our pilot. Here are the dates and times: Friday, May 17, 2:30pm Saturday, May 18, 9:00am Sunday, May 19, 10:30am Tuesday, May 21, 6:30am Please let your friends know and we'd love to hear what you thought of it. You can send us an email or post a note on the Ralph's World Facebook page. We'll be making an invite shortly that you can share as well. ### A revision to our previous note about our email newsletter. If you don't want to fill out all the address info, that's fine but providing a zip code will let us tailor certain messages just to your area but we actually haven't done that yet until we get enough zip codes from everyone. FRIDAY, JULY 12TH, 1PM RAVINIA 200 Ravinia Park Road Highland Park, Illinois 60035 847-266-5100 Ralph's World returns to Ravinia for their annual summer concert. Tickets go on sale for Ravinia Donors on March 28th. General public tickets go on sale April 25th. Ravinia is an outdoor concert setting with a large covered pavilion. You can get a seat or sit out on the lawn or under a tree. Feel free to bring your own blanket and picnic basket too! For more information or visit their website. SUNDAY, JULY 21ST, TIME TBA BENFEST 2215 W. Irving Park Road (at Bell) Chicago, Illinois 60618 773-588-6484 BenFest is a summer celebration held on the grounds of St. Benedict’s parish for its parishioners and surrounding neighbors and friends- or really from anywhere! BenFest has something for every age with two days of family fun including great music for both kids and adults, food from local vendors, activities for the kids and a chance to win some great prizes. SUNDAY, AUGUST 25TH - 10AM WTTW'S FUN & RUN Lincoln Park's South Field 1627 N Stockton Drive Chicago, Illinois 60614 773-509-1111 It's a family-oriented run (or stroll) in Lincoln Park benefiting children's television program for WTTW. Besides a bag of goodies, there are two full Ralph's World performances beginning at 10am plus for members only a solo show at 8:30am. Children under age 13 are half-price, under age 2 are free.
